Recently, the 30-year-old Sefatulla S. made headlines as he had to stand trial for the rape of a 19-year-old. During an ICE journey from Stuttgart to Ulm, he took advantage of his victim’s sleep to insert his penis into her mouth.
“All good,” S. is reported to have said as the young woman eventually awoke confused and choking, before simply leaving the compartment. Even during the trial, S. remained unrepentant, stating that he committed the crime simply “because he felt like it.” He dismissed the questioning by the judge as “Blah, blah.”
However, as reported by “Bild”, S. is likely not to be deported despite his crimes. On the contrary, his offenses had previously spared him from a planned deportation.
In 2015, Sefatullah S. came to Germany with his eleven siblings
According to reports, S. moved to Germany in 2015 with his eleven siblings. The asylum seeker’s application, who to this day cannot read or write, had already been rejected in 2017.
“The person in question was supposed to be deported to Afghanistan in December 2020,” said a spokesperson for the Karlsruhe Regional Council. However, at that time the responsible public prosecution office had rejected the deportation – because S. had already committed “sexual offenses against children” and had to serve his sentence until November 2021.
In August 2021, however, the Taliban had once again seized power in Afghanistan. Consequently, all deportations there were put on hold.
Sefatullah S. was considered a “particularly at-risk sexual offender”
As reported by the “Daily Mail”, Sefatullah S. was considered a “particularly at-risk sexual offender” after his release from prison. Despite consistently ignoring invitations to corresponding prevention programs, he remained at large until he was noticeable last year with the rape on the ICE.
