The thief in Saxony was unfortunate due to his shoe imprints in the snow. They would have led the officers directly to the man, as announced by the police on Sunday. The 41-year-old reportedly stole three radiator thermostats from a primary school in Zittau on Saturday evening, and accidentally triggered the alarm during his tour through the building.
Snow tracks lead police to the culprit
Although he fled, his snow trails leading through an adjacent site were clearly visible. The arriving officers followed them and were able to arrest the man nearby.
