In 2014, the Duke of Sussex described his war experiences: witnessing the injury and death of locals, including children, from explosive devices; dead soldiers on the battlefield; the constant transport of the wounded back to base, when he had to radio in the code word “Operation Vampire” because the wounded had lost a lot of blood and needed many cans. “Just the thought of it still sends shivers down my spine today,” Harry said back then.

Now estranged from the British royal family of the Windsors and having moved to the USA with his wife Meghan and children, the prince faces new danger.
A week ago, the Al-Qaeda media portal AS-Sahab Media Foundation called on the Muslim population worldwide to attack the British royal, in support of the Islamist-Palestinian terror militia Hamas. According to a situation report from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), which FOCUS online has obtained, the militant Islamists demanded “bloody attacks and revolutions to support the Palestinians”. Among other things, attacks on air force personnel in the West should be carried out. The main targets should be the USA and Prince Harry. The analysts at BKA interpreted the call as a “symbolic act of revenge and punishment against all supporters of Israel”. Prince Harry’s involvement as a soldier in the Afghanistan war is considered a guilt, and his execution is therefore seen as a satisfying objective, according to the report.
“Practical steps in the fight against the Jews”
According to the findings of the state security authorities, several terrorist organizations are trying to incite jihad (Holy War) against the Western “Crusaders and Zionists” through a propaganda offensive via the Hamas route. The conflict in the Middle East, according to the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoot in Syria, offers a great opportunity to defeat the enemy.
On November 14, the terrorist militia “Islamic State” (IS) spread a video through messenger channels entitled “Practical steps in the fight against the Jews”. In the video, the militant fanatics initially call for the breaking of the alliance of the crusaders and their followers, in order to destroy the Jews. Two days later, in a pamphlet, the call followed: “Fight against those among the infidels who are near you!”
The currently most influential IS group in the Afghan province of Khorasan (ISPK) recruited Palestinians to join their organization on November 20. The IS accused Hamas of betrayal, as the Palestinian Islamists of Sunni faith were allied with the hated Shiite regime in Iran.
German security authorities are particularly concerned about repeated calls for so-called “lone-actor attacks against Jews and Christians of Western states”. A support network for al-Qaeda published a graphic. According to it, attacks with bombs and knives should be “retribution for the killing and destruction of the Palestinian people”.
Evidently, the incitement on the web also finds fertile ground here in Germany. Tarik S., 29, from Duisburg, served a five-year prison sentence until 2021 as an IS fighter. Two years later, the German with Egyptian roots allegedly chatted with IS henchmen in Syrian Idlib again. According to investigators, Tarik S. discussed a truck attack with his middleman. The jihadist might have been planning it.

Stellungnahme des Verteidigers des Verdächtigen
Der Anwalt des Verdächtigen, Mutlu Günal, hat die Vorwürfe zurückgewiesen. Günal sagte FOCUS Online, dass er letzte Woche eine Haftbeschwerde eingereicht hat. Er fasst zusammen: „Die vermeintliche Verdachtslage gegen Herrn S. besteht einzig und allein aus Vermutungen und Mutmaßungen.“ Er betonte, dass unklar sei, wer im Rahmen eines polizeilichen Nachrichtenaustausches dem BKA was mitgeteilt habe. Der Anwalt äußerte Zuversicht, dass sein Mandant nicht lange in Haft bleiben wird.
Staatsschützer haben vor vier Tagen einen 16-jährigen Tschetschenen aus Wittstock (Brandenburg) und seinen 15-jährigen mutmaßlichen deutsch-afghanischen Komplizen aus Burscheid bei Leverkusen wegen Terrorverdachts festgenommen. Es wurde Haftbefehl gegen die beiden IS-Anhänger erlassen. Die beiden Islamisten hatten sich per Chat darüber ausgetauscht, einen Lieferwagen auf einem Weihnachtsmarkt in Leverkusen in die Luft zu sprengen. Nach dem Anschlag planten sie offenbar, sich dem IS in Afghanistan anzuschließen. Auch hier hatte ein ausländischer Nachrichtendienst den hiesigen Terrorfahndern den entscheidenden Tipp gegeben.
Nach den Hamas-Massakern in Israel und den Militärschlägen des jüdischen Staates im palästinensischen Gaza-Streifen warnte etwa der Präsident des Bundesamtes für Verfassungsschutz (BfV), Thomas Haldenwang: „Die Anschlagsgefahr ist so hoch wie lange nicht mehr.“ Das Risiko habe eine neue Qualität erreicht, konstatierte der BfV-Chef. Im jihadistischen Spektrum gebe es Aufrufe zu Anschlägen und ein Andocken der Terrorgruppen Al-Qaida und IS an den Nahostkonflikt.
Verzerrte Mails voller antiisraelischer Vorurteile
Aber auch andere Gruppen scheinen den Nahostkonflikt für ihre kriminellen Aktivitäten zu nutzen. Das BKA wurde am 26. November über Erpresser-E-Mails an deutsche Unternehmen informiert. Der Inhalt der an das jeweilige Management adressierten Mails war offenbar voller antiisraelischer Vorurteile. Die Ermittler haben den Drohmails inzwischen keine besondere Bedeutung beigemessen.
Bis zum 29. November zählte das BKA insgesamt 4137 Straftaten, wobei drei Viertel pro-palästinensischen Demonstranten zugeschrieben werden können. Fast ein Drittel der Fälle wurde als Sachbeschädigung registriert, bei 19 Prozent der Delikte handelte es sich um Volksverhetzung. Die Zahl der gewalttätigen Übergriffe liegt im mittleren dreistelligen Bereich. Am häufigsten handelte es sich um Widerstandshandlungen gegen Polizeibeamte – vor allem in Berlin.
