Next downer for the AfD. The party led by Alice Weidel loses another percentage point in the weekly Insa survey commissioned by “Bild” and now stands at 20 percent.
Party in crisis mode: AfD continues to slide in survey
Four weeks ago, the AfD was at 23 percent. The 20 percent represents the lowest value since July 2023 for Weidel and her party colleagues. The Union remains the strongest force at 30 percent, while the SPD climbs from 14 to 15 percent. Thus, the AfD continues to be the second strongest party.
The Greens remain at 13 percent, while the FDP remains below the five percent threshold, at four. The Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) can maintain its 7 percent from the previous week. The Left party remains at 4 percent, as it was in the previous week.
For “Bild am Sonntag,” the polling institute Insa surveyed 1202 people from January 29 to February 2 (TOM). The maximum margin of error is +/- 2.9 percentage points. The question asked was: If the federal election were held next Sunday, how would you vote?
